Vincent Chang

Vincent Chang served as the Vice-Chancellor and President of BRAC University in Bangladesh from 2019 to 2023. Currently, he chairs a U.S.-based hedge fund company. Prior to joining the BRAC University, he left his mark in administrating world class higher educational institutes like Peking University in China. Chang is known as an engaging professor and an inspirational educator. Before academia, he worked as an engineer in Silicon Valley, a startup entrepreneur in California and also held roles in finance, consulting and economics at JP Morgan, McKinsey, ExxonMobil and the Federal Reserve. He holds a PhD in economics from MIT, a PhD in electrical engineering and computer sciences from UC Berkeley, along with an MPA from Harvard, an MBA from Yale, and a BSc from National Taiwan University.
