This book could be one such pioneering book on the subject of electoral governance in Bangladesh. There are numerous electoral challenges in South Asian countries, but there are positive strides in overcoming these challenges. There are snags and electoral corruptions exist in these countries, but institutional strength takes care of such follies. 
The book, titled “Electoral Governance in South Asia,” could be the pioneering book on the subject of electoral governance in Bangladesh. This research-based book focuses on the comparative analysis of the state of election commissions or Election Management Body (EMB) as the central institution of electoral governance of major South Asian countries. The analysis is based on a comparative study of five selected South Asian countries: namely Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal and Pakistan.
